Law Enforcement Records Management
Supporting and guiding the organization’s mission
LERMA is launching committees to support and grow the association. The first of multiple committees is the Governance Committee which serves as an advisory committee to the Board and is responsible for matters related to Board governance, Board recruitment, Board development, and governing documents.
LERMA members in good standing interested in serving as a member of the Governance Committee must complete the Application to Serve as a Committee Member below.
Joining a LERMA committee is one of the most impactful ways for members to contribute to the advancement of the Association and the law enforcement records profession. Committee participation offers members the opportunity to share expertise, shape key initiatives, collaborate with colleagues across the state, and support the continued growth and professionalism of LERMA. Whether helping plan the annual conference, strengthening training opportunities, or guiding best practices, committee members play a vital role in ensuring LERMA remains a strong, member‑driven organization. Volunteering on a committee is also a great way to build leadership skills, expand your network, and make a positive difference in the records community.
