Mayer handed out flyers listing 9 possible locations for our
fall conference next year. Members are to vote and rank
their choices for the 2010 location and return to Pam. The
location with the most votes will determine our conference
site.

OLD BUSINESS:
ELECTIONS AND NOMINATIONS FOR 2009 BOARD POSITIONS
Kathleen Kantarian from the Royal Oak Police Dept. is
still accepting nominations for LERMA’s 2009 elections.
Ballots were passed out to the membership for nominations
for the following positions: President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer and Parliamentarian. These positions
are all 2-year terms. This is the last chance for
nominations, with elections taking place at the November
meeting in Novi.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was concluded at 9:15 a.m. with the introduction
of Lew Bender for his presentation on Effective Team Leadership
and Managing Gossip in the Workplace.
